2019 Theme: "Find A New Path"
2018年、私たちは、Fulbright設立の精神「異なる文化の間の相互理解」がより一層求められている時代であるとの思いから、"Connect the World"をテーマに、アジアで初めてのTEDxFulbrightを開催いたしました。参加者の皆さまから好評をいただき、継続的な開催を求める声も大きく、今年も新たなチームメンバー・協力者を得て開催をすることとなりました。
今回は、昨年度のテーマをさらに進めて、つながった人たちが互いに理解・受容していくことを助ける新しいアイディアを探求しようと、”Find A New Path”をテーマとしています。異なる文化、集団、フィールド、コンセプト。一見そこに大きなギャップがあると思われるものに、イノベーティブな橋を架ける、そんな多様なアイデアについてのトークイベントを目指します。
We organized the first TEDxFulbright in Asia, TEDxFulbrightTokyo event in 2018 under the theme of “Connect the World” considering the current global circumstances and the spirit of the Fulbright program: “to increase mutual understanding.”
Received good reviews from participants and huge demand to be held continuously, the event will be held this year as well with new team members and partners.
This year, we set “Find A New Path” as our theme searching for the new ideas to encourage mutual understanding and acceptance among all people who get involved in this event.
By presenting ideas from diverse speakers, our goal of organizing this event is to build an innovative bridge between those divided by factors such as differing cultures, groups, fields, or conceptual frameworks.
